There is no better time to belong to a Property Investor Association. 

At times of change and uncertainty they offer support and expert opinion from seasoned investors who have lived through variations of this time and again.  In the words of Warren Buffet “be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy when others are fearful”.  Get educated about how to make the most from the current market, go against the trend and join your local PIA to reinforce your skills and knowledge. 

It’s a small cost for a huge return.  One of our members remarked after a monthly members meeting ‘I saved $9000 from what I learned tonight’.  That’s a return of over 320% for every dollar spent on membership.  This only one of many benefits of membership.

Wellington Property Investors Association (WnPIA) was established in 1973 and helped form the New Zealand Property Investors Federation (NZPIF).  It has always been politically and socially active for its members, providing advocacy and information for members, lobbying parliament, and arranging discounts in places investors want them most.  The membership is warm and welcoming of new members.

We’ve had an exciting time to date.

• Martin Hawes speaking about diversifying for safety.
• Khoon Goh, ANZ Senior Economist with a very interesting and frank discourse on the macro-economy, speaking to the very concerns of the audience.
• Members received an overview of changes to the Real Estate Agents Act and how it affects investors. 
• We’ve had architects reveal how good design helps developers make the numbers better. 
• Panel of experienced investors sharing their experiences in investing and many pearls of wisdom were lapped up by the audience.
• Chartered Accountants, and Business Coaches assisted members to run their properties as a business, and make the best from the changing landscape with strategies for operating members portfolio under the new regime.
